My 16 year old daughter asked me what all the giant CD thingies in the garage were, I had to give her a brief lesson on LPs and Vinyl.

Yeah, I had to give that lesson to my kids too! only difference was, they saw the turntable and asked what the heck is that thing???

Oh..you used to use those back in the olden days?? AARRHH!!

Still have alot of my cassettes, although I never listen to them any more. Still have most of my albums too!! Really miss those. Cover art really went downhill when cds came around. Rarely listen to the albums much anymore,but I'm keeping them for the covers if nothing else!!

very hard to separate seeds and stems on a cd cover (i know, i shouldn't have that problem anymore...)

I was actually thinking of buying one of those cheap 'suitcase' style recordplayers so I could play some of the old scratchy albums for the kids.
